Liner notes

My story

From an early passion for music to a fulfilling career path, I returned to my first love of songwriting at 55.

Drawing on a life of experience and a wide range of influences from folk, punk, indie, pop, jazz and loads more.

Side A · Before the songs

  1. 1969

I was born to Nora and Peter John Whitmore, the middle of five sons. I was always singing and dancing, and yearning to go into the performing arts.

  2. Age 16

I left to become a soldier in the British Army.

  3. Age 20

Just after getting married and experiencing the birth of my son, I broke my neck.

  4. Then

Never one to take the status quo as given, and with the help of my amazing wife, I got back on track and managed to get my Masters in Information Technology.

Side B · The second chance

  1. 2024

It all began one morning, when I chose to write the lyrics in my head down, then sing, develop and release them.

  2. Now

Combining the two passions of music and IT, I am writing songs and, with the help of technology, turning them into something I am proud to share with the world.
