Short bio
Peter John Whitmore is a disabled songwriter who returned to his first love of songwriting at 55. Born in 1969, he joined the British Army at 16, broke his neck at 20 and went on to a Masters in Information Technology. Drawing on folk, punk, indie, pop and jazz, he writes his own lyrics and uses technology to turn them into music.
Long bio
It all began one morning in 2024, when Peter chose to write down the lyrics in his head, then sing, develop and release them.
He was born in 1969, the middle of five sons, always singing and dancing and yearning for the performing arts. Instead, aged 16, he left to become a soldier in the British Army. Aged 20, just after getting married and the birth of his son, he broke his neck. With the help of his wife he got back on track and gained his Masters in Information Technology.
Combining the two passions of music and IT, he now writes songs and, with the help of technology, turns them into something he is proud to share with the world. His lyrics are his own; the music is composed with Suno.
